Is it Legal to Park on the Wrong Side of the Street? in Millington, TN

Is it Legal to Park on the Wrong Side of the Street?

Bobbie Percer's Blog | Is it Legal to Park on the Wrong Side of the Street?

You are desperate for a parking spot wanting one that is close to your location and preferably free.

So you scour the streets and suddenly you see a parking spot on the opposite side of the street, but instead of finding a spot to turn around, you wing it and park your vehicle in the wrong direction of on-coming traffic.

The question now is, is it legal? No.

It is illegal to park your vehicle on the wrong side of the street.

This could cause for a ticket to be issued, a possible accident to occur or for another illegal move to be made, the U-Turn, which can cause more legal issues.

So the next time you spot that open space on the opposite side of the street, take the time to find a spot to properly turn around and park your vehicle the right way.

Just doing this small effort can literally change the course of your day and who needs the headache of a parking ticket any way!
